About Gridlock: Paper Defense

Gridlock fuses the loop-capture risk of Paper.io with the strategic depth of tower defense. Venture out of your fortified fortress, draw an energy trail across wild grid sectors, then close the loop to fortify the captured perimeter — it instantly deploys automatic turrets. Captured cells auto-spawn Gatling turrets, Tesla arc coils, Cryo freeze lasers, Napalm launchers and Rocket pods to hold off swarming Skitterers, armored Beetles, trail-hunting Stalkers and Swarm Queen bosses across 4 campaign sectors, Endless Siege and Competitor VS mode.

How to Play

Move with WASD or Arrow Keys and venture out of your fortress cell to draw an energy trail. Close the loop by intersecting your own trail or reconnecting to the fortress — captured sectors instantly deploy automatic turrets that lock on to incoming bugs. Use Spacebar to dash past trail-hunting Stalkers, bank Scrap for field upgrades, and spend persistent Tech Stars across the 11-node Tech Tree.
